What's the API for read/write cookie

I need to create cookies in user's machine from my ASP.Net
code and I also need to read them. How do I do that? What
is the API (name space?) for this in APS.Net?

Thanks

You can write cookies with the Response Object
Response.Cookie s("cookieName ") = myObject

You can read cookies with the Request Object
myObj = Request.Cookies ("cookieName ")

Hi, I have a problem with writing cookies in IE. The code works fine in Netscape 7.2, Opera 8 and Firefox 1.04. In IE 6 the cookie isn't written. I run WinXP SP2. I'm trying to show a JavaScript alert reminding visitors about a questionnaire on the site. I launch the alert in an onLoad-event, but since I don't want to punish the visitors by showing the alert every time they visit the page, I write a cookie when the alert-window is

I have huge number of legacy code which use standard files functions. I would like to pass a memory pointer rather than a FILE pointer. I am trying to use FILEs in the code to refer to memory buffers. Basically, I want to be able to use all the standard read and write functions, but I want them to refer to memory locations, rather than disk files. I do not want to touch the legacy code. Does any one know of a library

Hello! Have a site that contains both ASP (3.0) and ASP.NET files. When I log inn, my login.asp write info to a cookie to use for authentication in my asp.net files. One of the things I write to the cookie is the users local IP address. My problem comes when I try to "use" this IP address in my asp.net files. When I print out the IP adress from the cookie, it looks like theis: 127%2E0%2E0%2E1

I have searched but info is limitted. In my test app i used a non persistant cookie for forms authentication. slidingExpiration is set to true On run and close and rerun the login remains ok. I have a time-out of one minute and indeed, it directs me to the login if i wait to long. The slidingExpiration does it's work also.

members of this type are safe for multithreaded operations. Instance members are not guaranteed to be thread-safe. I'm under the impression before you can use a class you have to make an instance of it. So how can a class be threadsafe by itself but an instance of it not be? I guess I don't get what exactly being threadsafe means. Multiple theads can use the same instance of a class?

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
