'howto' Frames in ASP.NET

I have a web project that requires an .ASPX start page. I want the page to
also include frames, but I can't find a way to make Visual Studio .NET allow
me to use frames on an .ASPX page. I can do it manually, and by manually
coding the commands it works perfectly. I was wondering if there was a
'legitimate' way to make .ASPX allow frames?

Using frames in .NET is generally a bad idea. They're not supported well.
Usually you're better off partitioning logical sections of your page into
web user controls.

Thanks, that explains why I can't find any documentation on how to do it.

I tried finding an answer on http://www.quirksmode.org/ without success. I am attempting a complicated Frames structure. I have made it work in IE, but not Netscape. I begin with three frames, where the two lower ones are within a Frameset within the master Frameset: 1111111111111111111

simple, they don't like things that restrict the server-side controls... and when it comes to frames, you need client side stuff and that stuff's up the asp.net strategy. right or wrong?

I am using the Webbrowser control in VS 2005 C# Express to automate the navigation of pages on a partner's web site. The first page contains an <IFRAME> element: <iframe style='width:40; height:40'; align='center' marginwidth='0' marginheight='0' scrolling='no' frameborder='0' id='xyzlogin' name='xyzlogin' src='https://www.xyzcorp.com/accounts/ServiceLogin'> </iframe>

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
