howto : frameset ???

Hi all,

VB.NET : I have been trying to use frameset page for a while but seem I
can't find what's wrong with it.

1. I created my menu.aspx - the normal aspx webform and designed it to be my
menu_page
on the left frame

2. I add Frameset.htm item as 3 frames , once I right_click on the left
frame do 'Set Page for Frame'
and I assigned to my menu.aspx

I got error :
Parser Error Message: Could not load type 'frameset.Globa l'

Line 1: <% Application Codebehind="Glo bal.asax.vb" Inherits="frams et.Global"
%>
Please help! !!

Hi There, I have a page that has links with some variables and I need to open the results set in a frameset. I have tried doing this in various different ways, but still cannot get the variable passed to the relevant frames within the frameset. What is the best way of getting this done. Thanks Hans

I have a frameset where one frame contains a menu and the other the screens where the contents change depending on what the user clicks in the menu. Is there any relatively easy way to give the user a warning that changes should be saved and will be lost unless doing so when she or he clicks an option in the menu. This should of course only happen if something is changed. Any help is appreciated!

Hi, How can I create a dynamic frameset whose content changes based on user inputs? Specifically, how do I toggle a frame within a frameset? How can I allow a user to "close" or "dock" a frame by clicking on some button and let the parent update its frameset layout? What I've been trying to do is for the child frame to send a message

According to this <http://css-discuss.incutio.com/?page=BoxModelHack> IE6 will display differently to the W3C standard. Only IE6/strict and I suppose IE 7 display correctly. IE 6 transitional and frameset are wrong. My users are still using IE 6 and I have a frameset in most of my pages - this is just a one line tickertape thing but it has to stay there. The guy who wrote the site made some errors here (specifying xml strict but...

On October 13, 2006 Mark Rae wrote Hi, Firstly, I have not the slightest intention of using framesets - the reason for this post is merely to ask for assistance in furthering my understanding of XHTML. I was under the impression that XHTML fully supports framesets, hence the Frameset document type. Therefore, can anyone please tell me why the following markup doesn't validate correctly in VS.NET 2005?

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
