I'm trying to port my MySQL tables for a database called "tracerlock" from
one server to another. On the old server, in the /var/lib/mysql/tracerlock
directory, there was a ".MYD", ".MYI" and ".frm" file for every table in
the database. So after creating a database called "tracerlock" on the new
server, I copied these files over to the /var/lib/mysql/tracerlock
directory on the new server. On both servers, all the table files are
owned...

Hi All,
I implemented source to notify any changes in route table using
"NotifyRouteChange". ie., I am monitoring the route table, if any
change in PC. If any body(process/application) changes routetable,
NotifyRouteChange notifying via, Overlapped.hEvent that I registed
earlier. It is working fine.
I would like to know which application is changing the route table
table during my monitor. Is it possible to find the...

I am trying to copy a table to another SQL 2000 Database, but I
continually get errors.
When I right-click, choose All-Tasks, Export-Data and go through the
DTS settings, I get an 'Unspecified Error' on row 107 (which, looking
at all visible data, there appears to be no difference than the 100
rows before it).
Failed: Copying to a different database.
Failed: Copying to the Same database with a different table name.

Hi all,
I'm trying to create a new table or copy a new table from a template table
but clicking a button in a form.
Sounds complicated? let me explain more
I will have a form were you can login as a user or create a new user
I want in either case you either create a new table for that new user based on a template table that I already made or restrict the user access to his tables only

I have an instance of a Dataset on one form that I want to copy all records
of a particular Datatable to another forms Datatable (same Dataset/table,
etc). Any way to do this? I've been looking at the Load and Merge
functions but haven't got them to work yet.
Thanks,
Ryan

The problem: I have two schemas in an oracle database. One of the schema is the updated one. I want to update the first schema table say table A with the updated table A of schema B. The first table may have 74 rows as compared to 78 or more(for example).
I am thinking about copying the table to access and then copy it back to oracle. I may be entirely wrong, but can't think anything else. Can anyone suggest something or advise how can I do...

I have 2 databases DB#1 abd DB#2. I have TableA in DB#1 which needs to be copied in DB#2 but while doing this I need to change the field#1 which is currently of data type text.
Steps taken:
1. Created Macros with Action:TransferDatabase which helps me in copying the table from DB#1 to DB#2.
2. One of the fields in TableA has data type Text and values like 0040141699, now when I transfer TableA in DB#2 I want 00 to be removed from the...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
