I am trying to solve a problem that has been inflicting my self
created Order Forms for a long time, where the problem is that as I
cannot reproduce this error myself, then it is difficult to know what
is going on.

attached it to the text-box. Can anybody help me with the correct syntax?

I would like to connect to the USPS web service which
validates address' and looks up zip codes but the USPS
examples are in in Visual Basic 6 while I want to do it
in C#.
I am reading about web services but am lost. Can someone
share some guidance if they have been able to accomplish
this?

I'm developing a shopping cart for an ecommerce website. No big deal
until I looked into calculating the postage and shipping of the product.
By now I figured that UPS and The USPS would have a free XML web service
to provide this information. Sofar as I can tell they do not. My
research on this is coming up dry.
Of course there are crude ways to estimate postage, then tack on a few
dollars for handling. This is all a little too...

This is how I do it now.
1. Determine the dimensions of the rectangle.
2. Set a my font size to a fixed maximum size.
3. Apply the font my string and measure the string using the graphics
object.
4. If string size is less than the size of the rectangle, we are done.

I've been failing horribly trying to use USPS WebTools API from my WinForm
app. The problem I'm having is that they've switched to using SSL on the
APIs and I can't get my HttpRequest to work any longer. I've found a nice

Has anyone here used these tools? I'm building a shopping cart for my site and I would like to grad USPS info for shipping. I have gotten as far as submitting the zip codes to the USPS servers and I get a XML return with the correct price for the mail options I have selected. However, I don't know how to retrieve the XML tag values with the price info in them. This is from a ASP/HTML form. Can anyone help?
