1. This news group is for classic ASP. ASP.NET is a completely
different technology and has its own groups.
2. News groups are public fora. Discussions are not conducted by
email. The whole point of news groups is so that everyone can share
information publicly.
3. Asking people to "please respond quickly" is considered rude. It's
like you are pushing to the front of the queue.
4. Ask the USPS how your document should be structured and delivered.

I have a web server sitting on computer 1, (QA1). Out on the network on my main server I have a folder with a zip file in it. All I want is for the web services that are on the web server to pick up the Zip file and send it when the web services are called. However I am getting the following error: -- Message: System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server was unable to process request. ---> System.ApplicationException:...

Hello, We have some code (see below) that has been working intermittently and I was wondering if someone had a better approach or an idea on why we get these errors. This part of code basically gets a file and uploads it from a cable or DSL connection to our t1 line to a server. The file size ranges from 1.7 MB to 4MB and there can be between 1-40 files that need to be uploaded to our server. We also could have multiple laptops running...

Hi all, I've been working on a listing problem and I can't figure out how to work it out. I have looked far and wide on the web to find answers, but I'd like other peoples input on my project in the whole. I really need MySQL wizz to give me a hand (and maybe refer me to books to get me to the wizz level myself). First off, english is a second language to me and sometimes my sentences might be a little awkward. Please forgive me. Mon...

I'm really starting to hate writing services -- or trying to, anyway. Why do I need to rename my project to the service name? Why do I need to set the "ServiceName" property to my service name? Why do I need to set a property within my code to the service name? Are all these required or am I just doing this for consistency purposes?

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
