I have a laptop with Win2 K pro that is haveing problems displaying ANY
ASP pages when hosting locally with it's IIS. When we hit any local ASP
page we get:
HTTP error 500 - There is a problem with the page you are trying to
reach and cannot be displayed. We can see ASP pages on this machine when
going outside (when pages are being hosted on other sites). These ASP
pages work fine when run on other machines in the office using a local...

When aspx pages are made in vs.net, loading on the
local host displays the labels all in the top left corner
of the screen. Also, all textboxes and image buttons are
not even displayed at all. If pages are made on a remote
server, they load perfetly fine, it is just the local host
displaying them incorrectly. Is this a common problem?? I
have iis 5.0 installed with windows 2000. i use the full
version of vs.net to make asp.net pages.

Hi
I have recently changed web hosts, and am suddenly having the problem that
IE is displaying cached ASP pages, i.e. displaying data base query results
from the first assembly of the asp page. Surely this contravenes the whole
principleof ASP as a dynamically generated page. I didnt get the problem
with my previous host.
What am I to do about this? If it is browser dependent, how can I be sure
that all users have their browsers set...

Does anybody know why IE5+ does *not* honour array objects (like a table)
across a session?
Example:
Frame A contains a var tableVar which is set via form Frame B (on init)
using top.A.tableVar = document.getElementById("someTable");

I have a win2003 server workstation with multiple webs, each web has it's
own ip address. In VS2005, if I select to open an existing web site, select
Local IIS, the dialog correctly displays a list of all of my webs, however
if I attempt to open a site under and web other than localhost I receive the
message:
"Unable to open the Web 'http://localhost/anywebappname'. The Web
'http://localhost/anywebappname' does not exist"

In order to encircle a problem of performance we have with our PHP
scripts, we were brought the make the following test. We take a
standard HTML page of our site, and we make a copy of this file but
renaming it with the PHP extension. This way, those two HTML and PHP
files have exactly the same content which is entirely HTML without any
PHP tags, neither PHP commands.

Throwing this one out to you again as i am not getting anywhere and
can find little to no information out there.
I am currently displaying images (Jpegs) in access via the routine set
up in the article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/285820/en-us. It
works fine if the image is under 1000x1000 pixels. It is set up so
the user can double click to open the image in its host application.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
