Hello,
I made a webpage ( @ Geocities Free Webpages ) that contains a
mousetrail clock script. I simply copied the script ( including all
html tags ) exactly as it was from a source webpage ( that contains
only the functioning mousetrail clock ) and pasted it onto mine. But
when I try to load the page I made, the clock won't show.
Could someone help explain why the clock won't show on my page? Is
there a special script for mousetrail...

I am creating a site to show artists work. I have a database and can
retrieve and display a list of artisits, other info, and a related image for
each artist - all drawn from the respective entries on the database. What i
would like to do is then use that record to dynamically generate another
page that would display more detailed information about that one specific
artist that the user clicks on - again...

Hi,
- I'm running .NET framework 1.1 on win2k server
I'm investigating error pages at the moment. I have found how to:
a) display friendly or real .NET errors in the remote browser, by
editing the "customErrors" section of the machine.config (or
web.config) and setting the value to "On", "Off" or "RemoteOnly".

I have a page that my users will go to to upload files to my website.
As I want to reuse the file upload code on multiple pages I put the
file upload textbox/buttons on a user control which I plan to include
in multiple aspx pages where they'll be able to upload images for other
purposes.
On the first page that I'm working on where users will be doing the
upload (which I'll call the 'parent' page) I also have a DataGrid where
I display...

Hello there,
I have an interesting problem to takle. I'm creating a website that's
going to be run in a local Intranet. The site uses a MasterPage /
content page scheme, with the Master page defining a "sidebar" area
that contains links to pages, and the content for those pages being
displayed in a single content area.
The sidebar is divided up into sections, that are show/hidden without
postbacks using javascript. Here's an example:

I have a problem with my child asp pages, They seem to not recognize Arabic characters and display them as gibberish, while on the master pages or pages that are independent from master pages they display fine.
I have tried a Meta tag in the header of the masterpage with a charset of UTF-8 and set the page tag CodePage of the ASP child page to 65001, but it still didn't work.
The page is located at www.nazal-bahrain.com
This page displays...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
