Access 2000 unstable?

Is Access 2000 unstable? I have been trying to learn and set up a
database and it seems to be doing some strange things. Like lock ups
and not completing some actions in macros and queries.

If so is there something to do? Using Win 98 256 ram.

The original release of Access 2000 was unusable.
The first service pack fixed more than 300 bugs.

Go to Help | About. If you do not see SP3 beside Access 2000, go to:
http://support.microsoft.com/gp/sp
and download the service packs for Office 2000 and also for JET 4.
