I've split the program into the normal fe/be and put a copy of the fe
into each users folder and applied access security. But after 2 users
enter new data the be bloats and corrupts itself. Need help.

You have to have at least Jet 4 service pack 6, and at least Access
SR1 or later. The version of the Jet file should be 4.6000.0 or
later (you likely have this already if you're running Win2K Server
SP2 or later, or Win2K3 Server), and for Access, you want something
like 9.0.3821. The original release of Access 2000 (one version
number is 9.0.0.2719) was extremely unstable.

I just had a client start having problems this week when she got a
new PC and the tech didn't follow instructions for installing Access
2000.

My client wants to make their Access 2007 database available to offices around the country with multi-user permissions set to control access to the tables and forms, etc. The easiest thing would be a client/server app, but they are concerned that accessing the backend on their VPN would be too slow. We've discussed the possibility of...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
