1 New Member
I am gettig ready to upgrade from Windows XP / Office 2007 to Windows 10 / Office Professional 2016. Are Access 2007 databases compatible with or convertible to Access 2016?

You can easily open it. Before doing so you need to keep recent backup of the access 2007 database file. AS Access 2007 and above versions support .accdb file format to store its data..
Hope it works..........

A client of mine likes some of the new bells and whistles in Access 2007, and is thinking about converting our A03 format MDB to an A07 format file. However, while some of the users have A07, many do not, and it's not clear when they would get it. His thought was to use the upcoming Access 2007 runtime to allow the users who are still running Office 2003 to be able to run the database. While I use multiple versions of Access on my...

I posted a few days ago that it seems to me that the Access 2007 rich text feature does not support: a) full text justification; b) programmatic manipulation. I was hoping that someone might know one way or the other whether that was true or not, or could point me to an article or help text that would. What I have seen so far online and in Access 2007 help seems to confirm the above. But that (or at least (b)) seems incredible that it...

Hi all, I had a database with 3 tables (no queries) in an Access 2007 file. I converted the file to Access 2000 format, as that is the only Access format recognized by the SQL server we have here. Some sql queries gave weird results, so I went back to the original files. To my surprise, I noticed that the Access 2000 version of the file was trimmed: one table had been "shrunk" from half a million records to

I think I made a major blunder, and now Access 2007 no longer opens. I made the mistake yesterday of using the "test" option in wise installer for my Access 2007 runtime app. It actually installed the Access 2007 Runtime SP-1 (I did have full office 2007 SP-1, however). I didn't notice a problem until I had to use Access 97. Once I re-opened Access 2007, I got the usual message about the Installer (as it tries to repair every time you...

I heard a lot of complains at work about the speed of Access 2007 comparing with 2000 version after it is updated. They say that 2007 is much slower. Does anybody know what could it be the reason if that is true? plaguna

Hello, I have a database that was written in access 2007 on my pc. I wanted to work off site with the database so I uploaded it onto my laptop which is loaded with access 2010 beta. When I finished working with the database and return it to my pc(which has access 2007) I can't get it open because Access say that the file is not the right format. Does anyone have a way to work around this compatibility problem? So you know I...

I need to programmatically copy queries between access 2007 (.accdb) databases. I use VB.net and so I'm assuming ADO would be best but I'm unable to determine how to do it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
