Hi
My users are going to toggle back and forth between DataSheet and Form
view. This eliminates the need for a pile of queries <g>
Anyway, I would like my form to be viewed at the current size (I had
removed the min max buttons). But when in Datasheet view I would like
it to maximize. If I maximize the view while in DataSheet then when
the user toggles to Form it stays maximized and looks ugly.
Is there any code along the lines of

I have a form (CustomerImfo) that has a subform within it (order). Within
that subform is another subform (OrderDetail). That subform (OrderDetail) is
displayed in Datasheet view. When I am entering customers and their
respective orders, the first order entered is fine with the "tab" field
orders correct. On the second and subsequent orders, when I go from the
Order form to the subform "OrderDetail", the curser goes to the wrong field...

Hi:
I have a tables in relationship to each other. When I open the main
table (table 1), I see a "+" at the very left of every record. Clicking
on the "+" expands the data of the linked table (table 2).
Now ... when I create a form from table 1, I didn't manage show these 2
tables the same way (with the "+" at the left side of every record) as
it was shown as table. Access insists of making a regular form out of
table 1, but accepts...

Hello all,
I am using Access 2002, with file format of Access 2000, and am
experiencing a problem.
I have a subform that is shown in datasheet view for users to edit data
direct to a table.
When a user presses the Enter (or Return) key a carriage return is made
in the cell, rather than the cursor moving to the next field, which is

I haven't developed applications in 2 years (have been doing straight
SQL Server work) and I am new to developing in Access. I know that
using the datasheet view of a form is not usually the preferred method
of end-user access, but it seems appropriate for one of the tables I'm
using.
The table contains two columns, MonthStartDate and ClinicDays. The
user needs to enter the numbers of days the clinic will be open for
each month. ...

Hello,
I tried looking through some of the postings to see if anyone asked these questions before but I didn’t find any. I have 3 questions and I hope someone can help me out. I will write post them separately so it’s not that long.
First I have a main form which is pulling its data from . On this form I created a command button on the form based on ; this allows people to view the query in datasheet view. I know access has its own...

I have a query in MSAccess and it is a select query. As i understand,
any query run from Visual Basic would be returned in a recordset. Can
i display the results to the user in a datasheet view? Also, There is
one query in access that requires two user inputs : start date and an
end date. So, it is "Select * From ABC where Start_date>=#input1# and
start_date<=#input2"
I believe i can create a sql string and append the dates and then run...

That rather long subject says it.
In Access97 running on XP - I want to display a Maximized size Form01, then
open a Restore size Datasheet View Form02 on top of the first Form.
PopUp won't give me Datasheet view.
Dialog mode won't give me Datasheet view
I could make Form01 Restore size and expand it to fill the Window in
Restore size (maybe DoCmd.MoveSize Right, Down, Width, Height) - I don't
want this.

Hi
I am not terribly proficient in access coding so please excuse my ignorance if this is easier than what I think it will be!
I have a query which has 3 columns and varying amounts of records (depending on what criteria is chosen). I would like the data displayed on my form in a way so that the records are displayed in a single row, below is how I'd like it to be shown;
Column 1 : r1 r2 r3
Column 2 : r1 r2 r3
Column 3 : r1 r2 r3

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
