My client has an MS Access database application on her local machine. I have
full access to that in terms of changing the design.
I've got a simple PHP/MySql application on shared hosting, so no direct
access to the db server.
I'd like to give her the facility to export the information in her local
Access application to the shared PHP/MySql site. From one command button (or
similar) in the Access application.

Greetings -
I am trying to export a tbl from Access 2000 that has 26,544 records.
When I export the tbl to Excel, it only exports out 16,384 records. It
also creates a tbl that shows the data export errors and it says the
following - "Rows dropped due to worksheet row limit"
I am stumped and any help will be greatly appreciated. Thx in advance.
Regards,

I have a table in Access with about 3000 records. There are ~60 unique
values in the ID field for the 3000 records. What I would like to do
is automatically generate multiple Excel worksheets within a single
workbook with these records. I would end up with around 500
worksheets, 1 for each unique ID value. I was thinking this could be
done if I have an exported flag column in the table, and I search for
the max (or min) on the ID...

hello--
i am having trouble figuring out how to export individual records from an Access 2002 Form into a pre-existing Excel spreadsheet, such that the exported record is merely appended to the Excel file, rather than completely overwriting it (as occurs with the basic OutputTo function).
specifically, I am trying to create a macro that "backs-up" any deleted record. So, when someone goes to delete a record (i have a delete-record macro...

Hello, I've recently been asked to work with Microsoft Access, and
while I feel quite comfortable with Excel, I'm at a complete loss with
databases. If someone could help me with this issue I'm having I'd be
most appreciative. The database is already constructed, I'm just
wanting to export the data to an excel file.
In short, I'm hoping to export two Tables (or queries...not sure which
to use - they both seem to have the same data) in...

Hello,
I am trying to create an excel macro, that when clicked... a specific cell will match a record in my database, and update certain fields in this record.
The Excel file will have a cell that is the same as a 'Tracking Number' (the primary key) of my Access Table. The output from excel would access this record and update the field.
I currently have a macro to create new records in the table, but I am not sure if there is a way to...

I've got a query that contains a field called "URL", that field is a hyperlink field. I've got these super long hyperlinks in this field for different records, and for some reason, when I export them to excel, the URL's appear to be Hyperlinks, but they aren't clickable. What can i do to make these export into excel with clickable hyperlinks?
This is what I'm using to export into excel:
DoCmd.OutputTo acOutputQuery, "selectFullReport",...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
