Export a query from Access 2007 into Excel 2007

1 New Member
I've got a query that contains a field called "URL", that field is a hyperlink field. I've got these super long hyperlinks in this field for different records, and for some reason, when I export them to excel, the URL's appear to be Hyperlinks, but they aren't clickable. What can i do to make these export into excel with clickable hyperlinks?

This is what I'm using to export into excel:

DoCmd.OutputTo acOutputQuery, "selectFullRepo rt", acFormatXLSX, "C:\Test.xl sx", True

Greetings, I'm using the DoCmd.TransferText method to export the results of a MS Access query to a csv file. The csv will then be used to load an Oracle table. In other systems such as TOAD for Oracle, it's possible to force an additional comma delimiter after the last column, if the column is empty on a particular row. Oracle requires this additional comma on empty rightmost columns, for importing purposes.

Hi guys! Do you know what is the best way to export a text file, this one is a log file that is already comma delimited thru a module run by my access database, to an excel spreadsheet? I need to do this thru the module, and I don't see how I can export a txt file from access without loading it to a temp table first. I've checked out the DoCmd.TransferText methods, where you have to have a table or query or schema ini first, and the...

Hello, I've recently been asked to work with Microsoft Access, and while I feel quite comfortable with Excel, I'm at a complete loss with databases. If someone could help me with this issue I'm having I'd be most appreciative. The database is already constructed, I'm just wanting to export the data to an excel file. In short, I'm hoping to export two Tables (or queries...not sure which to use - they both seem to have the same data) in...

I am curious if this is possible to do. I have a case scenario where I need to export data from an access table into an excel spreadsheet, and have that data start on row 5. Can't do it from Excel with a query, as the machine has Access 2007 runtime db and Excel 2003 (which does not recognize the new access extension). Thanks Nathan

Hi, I need to rack and stack some data using a pivottable. I'd like to do it in excel. I have the query in Access 2007 finished but it is 800,000+ records. How can I get it to Excel 2007....it keeps giving me errors related to 65K line limit. Super frustrated....and not highly skilled at Access but on a deadline. Thanks

I have a query that includes calculated fields that generate numeric results. I have wrapped conversion functions CLng() and CDdl() around the calculated fields to ensure the data types are correct. The query results are correct in MS Access 2007 but when I export to MS Excel 2007, some of the numeric fields are converted to text. I cannot find an explanation. I am using a Macro to export, and would prefer to avoid VBA for this...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
