Export a Table from Access 2000 to Excel - Error Msg

Greetings -

I am trying to export a tbl from Access 2000 that has 26,544 records.
When I export the tbl to Excel, it only exports out 16,384 records. It
also creates a tbl that shows the data export errors and it says the
following - "Rows dropped due to worksheet row limit"

I am stumped and any help will be greatly appreciated. Thx in advance.

Regards,
Sonu

Sonu,
Apparantly you hit a wall ...
What version of Excel? What is the code you are using?
Excel 97 is *only* limited to 65.536 rows, so that should be enough ...

Sonu,
I have Excel 97 and 2000 also,
I also asked: What is the code you are using ??

If you are not using code then tell me *how* you are exporting the table.
I have Access 2000 also here. I could test if I knew what to test ...

Hi all, In MS SQL Management Console I can right-click on any Table and I have the option All Tasks > Export Data where I can export the table to Excel. In a View however this isn't there. I have many views I want to simply export to Excel, but the only way I've found to do it is creating an ODBC connection to the MS SQL database from MS Access, linking the Views to Access Tables, and exporting from Access. surely there's someway to...

I have an Access 2K database split into front and back. Quite often the users want to do some data analysis that I have not created a report for so they want to export some subset of the data into and Excel spreadsheet. Since the data often comes from many different tables, I have decided to create a temporary Access table, put all the data into it then use the Docmd.TransferSpreadsheet command to output the table to a spreadsheet. In...

I'm working on some procedures where Access queries are exported to Excel, and then later on, those same workbooks are openned, and I need to target a specific original sheet. Sometimes there will be multiple sheets in the same workbook, sometimes only a single tab. The issue is this: Save query "XLTest - qryExport" to file and the worksheet name becomes "XLTest___qryExport" (three underscores). I have a generic procedure which...

Is there a way to code the button that's available in the query window--microsoft excel icon that exports to excel. I know transferspreadsheet will do this---but I want the query, which is in a pivot table view, to be exported as a pivot, not just a data list. Does this code exist? Is it transferspreadsheet but with a twist?

I've got my code working so that it'll count the number of columns in the table and move across (eg Range A-P and then range Q-W). Problem is when I get to the end of the single letters and get into AA etc. Have got an idea of how I could do it by using Chr() and having an ongoing counter which is divided by 26 when it goes past Z to work out location. However, I'd dearly like there to be an easier way. Any ideas? Another problem I'm...

Hello, I've recently been asked to work with Microsoft Access, and while I feel quite comfortable with Excel, I'm at a complete loss with databases. If someone could help me with this issue I'm having I'd be most appreciative. The database is already constructed, I'm just wanting to export the data to an excel file. In short, I'm hoping to export two Tables (or queries...not sure which to use - they both seem to have the same data) in...

I've been using Access to export data to Excel all year... this data has been increasing in size as the project nears compleion and now I find that when I export a table (or query) to Excel using the OfficeLinks Tools option "Analyze it with MS Excel" I receive an error message complaining about row limitations. We're only talking about 16,000 - 18,000 rows. I know that Excel can handle ~64,000 rows when just working within that application....

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
