Hi everyone,
My company recently upgraded from Office 97 to Office XP. As those
who've read my other posts know I have a database with 3 nested
subforms
Main form-->First Subform-->Second Subform
First subform is a subform of Main Form, and Second Subform is a
subform of First Subform.

Hi,
We need a Gantt chart type calendar for Access 97 (and soon, Access
2003).
We need it to list the days of the month (for a date range) going
horizontally across the top, the names of the rooms and the names of
who is in those rooms (and how many people are in them) as the detail
records. The rooms would be listed vertically, with...

To use the Textstream object, I had to set a Reference to the Microsoft
Scripting Runtime.
This works good with A2000
Is the Scripting Runtime included with A2002 and A2003 so the Reference
won't be broken when my app is opened with those versions.
Also is the Scripting Runtime included as part of the A2000 Runtime Engine
which some of...

mentioned by Mike Gunderloy

I was asked to provide a proposal. I provided a proposal on my application
and the prospective client likes what I have but is wary of it having been
developed in Access.
I don't understand this concern since my front-end application will be linked
to a SQL SERVER backend.
But there seems to be this "conventional wisdom" among IT people...

I am considering building some distributable commercial applications.
For about a year now, I have been using Access2000. This was my first
venture into object oriented database development. Having a
background in Pascal and some C++, I would have preferred those
languages, but VBA made do. The SQL was fine.
I believe that Security...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...
