Hi everyone.
I'm using Macromedia's " function MM_showHideLayers() " to show a layer,
triggered by an image in the body of the file on load:
<IMG height=380 src="images/verybg.gif" width=185
onload="MM_showHideLayers('Layer2','','show')">
This works fine on the Mac and PC Internet Explorer. Simple.

I'm confused as to what the compiler error message I'm getting is refering
to. Can someone take a gander and let me know what I did wrong? The program

The code that lets me get selected text from a textarea in IE on a PC
does not work in IE on a Mac. Why Microsoft did things this way, I
don't know, but now I need to track down the Mac/PC differences for IE.

I sell on ebay alot and I'm starting to search online to find other
options to sell computers. What I mainly do is buy used desktops and
upgrade them w/ better/newer parts for resale. But do to ebays
overwhelming fees racking up every month I've started to look else
where. I have since found a site called usfreeads that I have an
account w/ thats working fairly well for me as a seller (

Ever since I found out that they didn't give us a way to install both IE6
and IE7 on the same machine, I have been more frustrated and annoyed with
Microsoft than I ever have been with any company (and for someone who has
loved Microsoft as much as me, that takes something pretty bad!). I am a web
