Hi all,
Does anyone know how I can have a Page Header, but have something
between that and the detail of the report???
ie..
Page Header
Once off piece of text (for the first page only)
Detail...
---NEXT PAGE--
Page Header
Detail...

I would suggest the following:
As a part of the pager header, put a text box control, the data source
for which is
=IIf([Page]=1,"Your one-off text","")
In this way, although the text box will be a part of every page header,
if it's not page 1, the text box will be empty and thus not visible.

Include the text in the page header.
Code the Page Header Format event:
[ControlWithText Name].Visible = Me.[Page] = 1

Others have given working suggestions. Another way is to create
a group header. Set the group to a constant. It will only appear
once.

Hi,
I am using Access 2000 to print out an address book. I have designed
the report based on a database whose first record is not blank. In the
design there is a one line report header, a onle line page header,
three lines of detail (name address etc)and a footer.
On previewing or printing the report it inserts a blank three line
detail section before the first record. Every other page is fine

I've got a TextBox in a page header that I'm using to print a variable
report header field that reflects the parameters selected for the
report. I'm using a TextBox rather than a Label so that I can set Can
Grow and Can Shrink parameters to cater for multiple lines.
The problem I'm having is that when the Text Box grows, the page
header section doesn't. The column headers under the header field get
cut off.
Any suggestions?

Hi,
I am automating Access reports to PDF using PDF Writer 6.0. I've
created a DTS package to run the reports and schedule a job to run this
DTS package. If I PC Anywhere into the server on where the job is
running, the job runs sucessfully, PDF files got generated, everything

I have a report that's fairly simple, page headers and footers, detail
has a subreport in (can vary in length). The customer wanted a signature
block for them, their client and 3rd party. This was no problem, couple
of boxes and labels in the report footer.
Now customer wants this signature block on the foot of page 1 (stoopid
IMO as that implies people read page 1 where at the end implies they
read past page 1 at least).

I've got a report that's not sorting correctly. I build a SQL
statement and assign it to the recordsource in the Open event, sorting
the data the way the user chooses. The user can choose up to 3 sorts
using a form that opens before the report opens.
When the report previews, it ignores the users' sort request and always
sorts by the primary key even though ORDER BY is explicity set to
