I don't know how to make the toolbars not show up in A97

Is there a simple way to hide built-in toolbars in A97?

I'm afraid I understated the question.

I'm aware of clicking View, Toolbars, Customize and of
selecting/deselection the checkboxes in the resulting
dialog box. That's not what I'm talking about. I want to
do it from code.

In the development environment, I want these toolbars.
I do not want them to show up, however, in an app
that I roll out in the runtime environment. Not wanting
to click these options before preparing the mde and
rolling out a runtime app, I would just like to know the
equivalent code that accomplishes the same as say,
clicking View, Toolbars, Customize and deselecting
the "Database Toolbar".

Even though the following snippet comes right out-a-the
A97 Help, I find that the Database Toolbar still shows up
for me in my runtime environment. That seems contradictory
to the following HELP blurb...

The run-time environment disables all built-in Microsoft Access
toolbars. However, even though the run-time environment doesn't
support built-in toolbars, you can add your own custom toolbars to
your application.
When you create a custom toolbar, it is stored in the current
database. It will automatically be available to your application.
By default, the Microsoft Access run-time environment turns all
toolbars off. The run-time environment will not automatically show and
hide your custom toolbars as the context changes. It's up to your
application to show and hide your custom toolbars using the
ShowToolbar method in the Activate and Deactivate event procedures of
your forms and reports. You can also customize a form or report by
using the Toolbar, MenuBar, and ShortcutMenuBar properties.

MenuBar properties, see the Developer Solutions sample application.

help file says it, they're talking about the msaccess runtime version
that's distributed with the "office developer whatsit"[1].

You can hide toolbars using DoCmd.ShowToolb ar.

Yes, Trevor, that's it. The runtime environment one is in when
running an app rolled out with the ODE tools in developer edition.
