Does anyone know how to show the VS.NET statusbar?

I noticed that the Visual Studio.NET statusbar on one of my development
machines has disappeared. I.e., the IDE statusbar, not the form control.

Does anyone know how to restore it? (It doesn't appear to be in
View/Toolbars.)

Hi all, I have an application with a few different Windows forms. I am trying to update a statusbar panel's text that is in the main form, from another form. When I set the statusbar and the statusbar panels to public and shared in VS.net's property box it will work. However, whenever I make any modifications to the main form it will remove the shared property and I will get build errors about accessing the panels with "this.".

I have encountered a very strange problem that makes it look like the page is not recreated in entirety after a postback when I turn on smartnavigation. If I click on a server control, the page is returned blank. I have a JavaScript routine displaying a session countdown in the browser statusbar that continues counting without resetting as it normally would after a postback. An error icon is displayed in the browser statusbar after the...

Hi there, I have a child webform (with a ASP.NET calendar control) that opens in a javascript popup window when I click a button in the caller form. Child page has a <title> tag, and javascript window open options dictate "statusbar=no" While running the site inside VS 2003, the child page pops up as expected, with the specified title and no status bar. So far so good. However, once I take the binary and aspx files to the production...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
