I've been searching around for a simple way to display a background
image in my MDI form's client area.
I want to be able to load the image from file on start up
and have it resize as the MDI form is resized.
It's the resizing part that I am having trouble with.
I've seen a few old posts that point in the right direction but
nothing simple.
I wondered if they has been any new ideas I have missed.

Hi
I have a form on which I have a picture box. I have placed a GIF as the
image for this picture box. The GIF has a transparent background.
If I change the background color of the form, then the GIF appears on the
form correctly i.e. the background of the form shows through the transparent
part of the gif.
However, if I place a BackgroundImage on the form, the transparent part of

I have my base form which has background image , tool bar etc,All other
forms inherit it. The background image size is162kb and it is in PNG
format.All the other forms also has many images since we have unique look and
feel. The issue I am facing is performance .
Application works fast when I don't have background image on my base form (
in turn we don't have any background image for any of the form), But when I

I have a user control called Footer.ascx, in which a background image
is inserted like so:
<div id="footerdiv" style="background-image:url('Images/
mybackground.jpg'); background-position:center; background-repeat:no-
repeat;" <!-- My footer content goes here. --</div>
This Footer.ascx is under a folder called /UserControls (the leading
forward slash indicates the root of the web application, same below).

Hi all
I have a MDI Container Form, with one label control
on the Background of this container form.
When I now open a child form, this form is behind
the label ... and this looks ugly ... :-))
When I set the label with "SendToBack", it completely disapears.
I also tried to set the child form like "BringToFront" but this also does
not help.
