default print settings

Hi All,
In an Acces97 application I have a report which in design mode I set
the right/left print margins to 0.5"

The report, for several user now does not print using the default
values that were set in the report but instead, is now printing the
report using the default setting that are set at the PC level(1.5" and
1.5") which messes up the report to an un-readable state because of
warp-around. This just started recently, before the default setting
that I set within design view of the report within Access have always
overrode the default setting at the PC level.
Any ideas of what is going on or what to check?
bobh.

Hi
1. Is the report saved with a specific printer set, as opposed to the
default printer? If so, your error may/will occur if the target system
does not have that printer driver installed.

2. Are any of your users actually running your A97 database with later
versions of Access? Your error occurs in several of these in various
situations if all the service packes have not been installed.

Hi, I'm using a control that can print itself using the default printer. I want to change the default "Print Portrait" to "landscape" just before I call my control.print() method. How can I do this? I've checked the print dialog, but it really doesn't seem to be what I'm looking . The control I'm using doesn't give me a document object, it just prints using the local clients printer settings. So i figure if I can change the default...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
