Delete Page 2 of Report, Which Is Blank

Access seems to always generate a second page, which is blank, to my one page
report. How do I delete the second page? Thanks.

Go to File>Page Setup and change the left and right margins. Or in design
view, change the size of the report by clicking the right hand side of the
white space and drag it to the left

Now I see what happened -- I thought it was a page below. But the extra page is
a page to the right because my margins are set in such a way that not all the
data and white space can fit in 8.5 inches. I'll move the data columns in
tighter and drag in from the right. Thanks.

This is from Access help

My report prints blank pages.

If you get a blank page only at the end of a report or printed form,
make sure the Height property is set to zero for the report footer or
form footer.

If every other page is blank, make sure that the total width of the
form or report plus the widths of the left and right margins don't
exceed the paper size specified in the Page Setup dialog box (File
menu). You can use the following formula as a guide:

form or report width + left margin + right margin <= paper size

You can adjust the form or report in one or both of the following
ways:

Reduce the width of the form or report.

Reduce the margins or change the page orientation.

To do that, you could click in the right edge of the upper ruler above
your report. Click, or drag.

This action will select all controls that are within that range
(depending on a setting in Tools->Options, under forms/reports: the
default is 'partly selected' which will mostly be what you want)

I am having a problem with printing selected pages. Actually, the problem isn't with printing selected pages as it is more to do with having blank pages print for those pages that have not been selected. For example, if I were to have 5 pages with every second page printing, I would get the following results: Page 1 = Print OK Page 2 = Blank Page 3 = Print OK Page 4 = Blank

Hi. I've got a multi page report of my monthly purchases. I'd like a running total (month to date) at the end of each page and to have that total at the top of the following page. So far all I can figure out is a grand total at the end of the entire report! Any suggestions? Thanks.

My basic question is why does my print report button on my subform print a blank report when my cursor is on a blank entry line? Here is a more detailed explanation of my problem. I have a form that contains shipment destination information and a subform that contains boxes for that shipment. The main form is a table called Ship_Info, and the subform is a table called Label_Info. They both contain and are linked by a field called...

I have an Access 2007 problem and I would just like to know if there is some sort of solution out there. The problem is, when I build a report that will 99% of the time be one page or less maybe even a half page. I end up with a giant space in the middle of my report. I want to fill that space with empty records but the records must only be enough to fill the page and still leave the report foot at the bottom of the last page. Those...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
