Report Blank When Cursor is on Blank Line?

My basic question is why does my print report button on my subform print a
blank report when my cursor is on a blank entry line? Here is a more
detailed explanation of my problem.
I have a form that contains shipment destination information and a subform
that contains boxes for that shipment. The main form is a table called
Ship_Info, and the subform is a table called Label_Info. They both contain
and are linked by a field called Load_ID. My report is called "Load Sheet".

I have a button on the subform that prints the records only on that subform
to the "Load Sheet" report. This works great. The subform is a continuous
sheet, so as I add fields, it adds another blank line below to enter another
record. I move from field to field in the form by hitting tab or enter.
When I hit tab or enter, it moves my cursor to the next blank line. If I
hit the "Print Load Sheet" button on the subform while my cursor is in the
blank line, the report is blank. If I move my cursor to the previous
record, the report has all the records on the subform like it should. The
records seem to be savedIs there something I can do so that it will print
the records when I am on the blank line? The records seem to

Me!Field_Name.D efaultValue = """" & Me!Field_Name & """"

on a few fields to populate the next field with the same value--if this
makes any difference.

I am using:

DoCmd.OpenRepor t "Load Sheet", acPreview, , "[Load_ID]= " & "'" &
Me![Load_ID] & "'"

to print my Load Sheet from the subform.

how about checking whether the line you are currently on is new but not
dirty and then moving to the previous record if it is. Then print.

Sounds good. How exactly do I do that? I need to be able to print while on
the balnk line.

When you're on a new record in your subform, [Load_ID] won't have a
value yet and will not have a value until the record is saved. If I
were you I would modify my OpenReport code to use the value of
[Load_ID] from the parent form, e.g.

DoCmd.OpenRepor t "Load Sheet", acPreview, , "[Load_ID]= '" &
Me.Parent.Form![Load_ID] & "'"
