Books for leaning Access VBA?

I'm looking into buying a book to learn Access VBA programming. I am very
familiar with Access however I am new to programming Access with VBA. Are
there any recommendations for books for beginners? I was looking at
"Beginning Access 2002 VBA" by Dave Sussman however many of the reviews are
not so flattering about this one. Any recommendations are much appreciated.

I've used this book and it ok to give you a grounding in VBA. Might look
into some of the training courses from AppDev. They have some fairly
indepth course work you can do at your own pace.

Don't bother with beginner books....they'r e a waste of time...If you want to
be a big boy, ride a big bike....is that how a saying goes, I dunno, but it
sounds good...

I have purchased several access books, the only ones I ever use are the
Access Developers Handbooks by Getz, Litwin, Gilbert. The other ones I have
collect dust....You can buy it a set of 3 for about $300 australian...la st
time I bought them anyway...

If you're familiar with the fundamental design of tables, then the set of 3
of these books is all you need for learning VBA, as thats about all these
books don't have....

Anyway, im no guru....

Rick Dobson's "Programmin g Microsoft Access <versionnumber> " books from
Microsoft Press include the power user moving to developer status by
learning VBA as one of the target audiences. Dobson's good at explaining.

The "Access Developer's Handbook" by Litwin, Getz, et al, from Sybex is an
excellent reference for the advanced developer, but it was never intended as
a tutorial on learning VBA. (Getz and Gilbert also co-authored a book called
"Visual Basic Language Developer's Handbook" but it is not Access-specific.
Since much of what we do with VBA is manipulate the Access object model, a
generalized VBA book can be very frustrating.)
