Best Reference Books for Access 2007

Hello all,
I'm a fan of Smith's and Sussman's Access 2000 VBA and Barker's Access
2000 Power Programming. I'm now moving into Access 2007 and would
appreciate it if you could tell me which books are comparable and
which are the best books to use as reference?
Thanks much!!

Hello Everyone and thanks for your help in advance. I have read a great deal about code reuse and the development of the three-tier application, but am somewhat confused on some issues and am looking for input. I typically develop web applications in Visual Studio 2003. Within the project, you can obviously develop classes via code behind as well as other classes not directly linked to web forms. However, it appears that many...

I keep asking myself this question as I write class modules. What's the best/smartest/most efficient way to send a large object back and forth to a class module? For example, say I have a data access module that creates a large disconnected dataset from a database. I want to pass that dataset back to the calling program. And then perhaps I want to send that dataset to another class module. At first it seems that the "object oriented"...

Our .Net team has just inherited a junior programmer that we need to get up to speed as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, his skill set is largely Access with some VB6 and ASP classic experience. We employ some parts of XP such as pair programming, and this should help. Other than books, does anyone have any suggestions? His skill set is pretty antiquated and we need to get him up to speed as quickly as possible so any suggestions...

Hello, Looking for opinions on a fairly simple task, new to ASP.net (C#) and want to make sure I do this as efficiently as possible. I have a web based form, and I need to run some SQL before submit, which determines exactly where to send the form contents. The table of "receipients" could contain in the region of 3,500 recipients but is more likely to contain up to 1,000. Table structure:

I am a C/C++developer with several years desktop app development experience. However, I am a COMPLETE and TOTAL newbie when it comes to taking about web apps. All the talk about CSS, layouts etc is VERY confusing to me. I want to be able to build my own website - because of my programming background, the programming aspect is not an issue and I can use either C# or VB.Net (I prefer C#) - but I have NO IDEA about how to go about building...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
