For #1 and #3, you'll probably want to configure a custom installation
point of Office, then reinstall it for all Citrix users. All the details
should be in the Deployment Guide here:
http://www.microsoft.com/office/ork/...rn/default.htm

#2 can be done from code:
Application.Com mandBars.Disabl eAskAQuestionDr opdown = True

When I ordered my new laptop, Sony didn't offer Access 2003 in its bundles. Recently, I have begun to design Access databases using an copy of Access 2002 from my previous laptop. It works fine, but I would like to have all the office apps on the same version. So I have a few questions: 1) Is the file format the same as 2002? Can 2002 users read 2003 files? 2) What are the major reasons for upgrading to 2002 ?

I recently started using Access 2003 for the first time. I wanted to pass on some comments about the Help system to Access MVPs who frequent this board. I'm doing this in the hope that some of what I say may be passed on to Microsoft. Microsoft has implemented a combination local and web based help system in Access 2003. The local Help installed on your hard drive is fast, but the content is abbreviated. For really useful help you have...

We've had a very large A97 app running fine for the last seven years. I've just converted to SQL Server backend, which is being tested, but meanwhile the JET based version, running under terminal server, has suddenly started running very slowly. The network engineer has thrown up his hands and said "It's Access 97". I've checked out lots of things including the Oplocks setting and other stuff from this NG, and I think I've done everything...

I have previously used Access versions 97, 2000, 2002, and now 2003. I have written a program and wanted to send it to someone who only has Access 2002. I removed version 2003 and reinstalled 2002 but I can't see or open the program (though when I go to "ADD/Remove Programs" in the control panel, it is there.) There is no icon for it, it is not under "ALL Programs" on startup menu and I can't start it via "Explorer".

Hi, I have the following problem with developing some web site. I use Visual Studio 2003 to build a website. I tried Windows 2003 Server and switched now back to Windows XP with PWS but the error occurs in both installations. When I do a compile/build of my app and go to the browser and hit reload there comes an error:

Is there a way to find out where an application was created from? i.e. - work or home i.e. - if application sits on a (work) server/network, the IT people know the application is sitting there, but is there a way they can find out if that application was put there from a CD or email or created at work? Hint: It's not on a client/server database, just native jet database mdb created on Access 2003 (default 2000)...

Hi, I have an Access 2002 - 2003 database. I am using Access 2003. Whenever I link an image all it shows is the filename. Not the image. Other versions of Access can link the image just fine. The properties look the same whether I use XP or 2003 versions of Office. If I take an earlier version of Access and link the image, it puts the image. I can also see the image in 2003. If I link the image using 2003 it only shows the filename....

Greetings... I have what may seem like silly questions, but I need to have the facts before I proceed with my decision. Access 2002 and 2003 can run (and modify) A2K DBs/apps without having to convert them to the newer version. Is this true? Can an A2K app use the A2/3 Printer objects and still be A2K, or does it need to be converted to A2/3?

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
