Starting Access program

I have previously used Access versions 97, 2000, 2002, and now 2003.

I have written a program and wanted to send it to someone who only has
Access 2002.

I removed version 2003 and reinstalled 2002 but I can't see or open the
program (though when I go to "ADD/Remove Programs" in the control
panel, it is there.) There is no icon for it, it is not under "ALL
Programs" on startup menu and I can't start it via "Explorer".

Questions:

1. Can someone running Access 2002 uses aa Access 2003 program?

2. Any suggestions on how to get Access 2002 running again?

Thank you for the help in advance.

By default Access 2002 and 2003 still use the Access 2000 file format. Even if
you deviate from that the newer format is the same between 2002 and 2003 so as
long as you avoid functions/features that were introduced in 2003 you can just
develop in that and send your friend the file.

I am working on starting and managing TCP connections manually. I build the IP headers and TCP packets manually and send them on my own. The problems I run into seems to be related to the Sockets. Maybe someone can help me out. 1) I can build the packets and put them out fine, however, I can only read incomming data if I use IOControl and set the socket SIO_RCVALL. But doing this seems to apply to other sockets I maybe running in a...

Suppose you have one domain, filled with a couple of users. What needs to be done now is I need to start a windows application from a webform by pressing a button on the webform (for example). The problem is that the user who "owns" the service is always the ASPNET account. That's not good since you don't see the actual application (because it's owned by ASPNET). I've tried changed the processmodel section in the machine.config file to...

I have a Windows Service I created that just sets a timer and writes to EventLog every 10 seconds. It installed fine and it actually starts. But it says it doesn't. The progress bar shows the progress fine until it hits about halfway. It then stops there for about 4 or 5 seconds then goes a little farther. I then get a message: Could not start the MyService Service on Local Computer. Error 1053: The service did not respond to the...

I have the following problem: a program, located on drive a known drive (for example lets say drive C:) needs to execute a program on an unknown different drive (a USB device which doesn't have the same drive letter in each PC). Locating this program isn't the problem, I'm just letting my main application check the root directory's of all drives currently in use (i know the name and that it's in the root directory). but now comes the problem,...

This is strange... I set a break point on a form's code module, and then after a bit, shut down the main program file. Now whenever I click the button for the form, it opens the code module, with a highlighted line (which is where I Had set the breakpoint). No matter what I do now, it breaks out into the code module when I click the button. Even though there is no longer a breakpoint there. I tried compacting / repairing, clearing all...

I am used to having icon placed on my Desktop or taskbar for easy access to (db2cc) Control Center. After installation, how then can I get access to DB2? How can I place a desktop icon in linux for easy access to DB2? Can anyone recommend a book (free or not)that takes a Linux newbie through the nitty-gritty of Linux and Db2?

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
