When using .net framework HttpWebRequest object, how can we set the connection header to "keep-alive"
Acording to Microsoft ducomentation, setting the keepAlive property to true, should do the job, but it doesn't seem to do so
When trying to change the header manually (using httpWebRequestObject.Connection = "Keep-Alive") we get the following error
Argument Exception: "Keep-Alive and Close may not be set with this property.

I have a problem when the HTTP keep alive is set to true on a server. When a
other server call a web service to that server (the one with the HTTP keep
alive is at true) I receive randomly a "Underlying connection was closed on a
send" if I retry a few second after, everything works well. This can append

ExecuteNonQuery requires an open and available Connection. The connection's
current state is closed.
Often, i mean a few times a day, the database is no longer reachable.
The appication pool must be reset to activate it again.
I believe after 30minutes it comes alive as well.
What is going on?
I can't find so now and then issues like this.

First of all, I am looking for a way to force the execution of a php
script to explicitly stop when told to do so by the client
connection. I know when you hit the browser stop button php normally
stops, but it doesn't stop immediately (ie. if the script is in a
