new..want to have a cell give result (a number) of all 'yes' s in another field

laj
I'm new .
I have a table with student names and than several fields with classes
and all have 'yes/no'. Want to query the table to give total for
'yes's in a field. ie how many students (with primary id key) are
taking a class. eg. if 2 students out of 10 are taking one class then
the cell shows '2'.
another table has months for fields and class room , day, time for
records. Want the cell in month to reflect this total.
thanks, please be clear as to what expression or properties setting
goes where :)

The checkboxes give me errors, though. I'm doing this from memory, but I beleive the data said I was putting the wrong type of data into the field. The HTML for the checkbox is <input type="checkbox" name="whatever" value="yes"> In Access' design view, the field is...

Is there a way I can calculate a field in a form based on another field in the same form. When clicking submit, both values should be posted to the next page. I want to be able to type in a value in one field, and automatically in a second field the value*1,36 should appear.

Hi. I'd like to know if after the records have been ticked , whether one can then have those same records unticked - in case a mistake had been made the first time to tick them. ---------------------- >Assuming your table has a numeric primary key named "ID", you can get 170 >random records in the date range with this kind of thing: SELECT TOP 170 * FROM WHERE Between #1/31/2004# And #2/29/2004#

I have a phone number field (BusinessPhone) that I only want to display in my query results if the user has selected yes (yes/no field) in another field (Business Y/N field). The premise is that they can choose to use their business phone, mobile phone or both. If they choose yes in business their business phone would appear in the field BusinessPhone however if they choose no the query should return nothing in that field for that user. ...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
