Situation:
I have to connect with my Windows 2000 server using VS.NET 2003 and C# and
connect to a remote Linux server at another company's office and query their
XML file. Their file may be updated every hour or so. How can I do this
easily? I would like to use secure communication even encryption if
possible. I would query and insert locally only the newest records found in
that XML file to an xml or MS access db.

the net for a while and could not find a non-third party way to
accomplish this. I found many sites telling how to use the MailMessage

I have created a database application consisting of a front end and backend
file. Data entry and administration of the application are done at a central
location. The next requirement is to be able to distribute the appllication each
month to five remote sites by sending the sites a CD. The sites will only use
the application to lookup data in the database and print reports. The sites will

Is there a way I can manage a remote website (virtual shared hosting service)
with WAT? When I run it from the VWD Express it opens my local sites but I'n
not sure how to invoke it against a remote site (which I haven't setup a
website for in VWDE, as I don't program againt production sites).

I have some database records which are listed out in a table on an asp
