Remote debugging problems with VS2005 and a domain account

Because of the increased security concerns of the network admin, i no longer
am the admin on my development machine. To work around this and have a secure
environment, I have virtual pc 2004 installed on my machine (winxp), the
virtual machine runs IIS under winxp (i am admin on this virtual m/c). The
development machine has vs 2005 and is on a domain, the virtual machine is
not on the domain. When i am logged into the dev machine with the domain
account i can create remote iis sites, and compile them. However i cannot
debug them, however when i log into the dev machine with the local account i
can create, complie and debug the sites. The login credentials are the same
(domain, local dev, local virtual). I am using msvsmon on the virtual machine
as the remote debugger.

The error message i get is "unable to start debugging on the web server. The
Visual Studio 2005 Remote Debugger service is unable to connect to this
computer."

Hi all, I'm hoping someone can help me with the following: I've read the microsoft documents on how to setup debugging on a remote server. I have the application set up in Visual Studio ok but I'm getting the Access is Denied message when I try to debug. The documentation states that the solution is to add the appropriate account to the debugger and Admin user groups on the remote server. The problem is,

I'm writing an ASP.NET app, using Visual Studio 2003. VS is running locally on my laptop, but the web app is running on a remote server. My laptop is not in the domain. I do have a domain account. I had no issue creating the web app on the remote server after authenticating with the domain account, but I can't debug. It complains that I don't have rights. My domain account is in the administrators group on the remote machine. I also have...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
