need help with FIRST TIME xml project

my problems are as follows:
1. i dont understand xml syntax very well and thus cant correct myself

2. i am trying to create sets of slide show data to be loaded and parsed in flash

3. data sets include a path to the slides, a path to the pop-up project, who the project was for, what it was, slide#, popup-type data.


can someone, ANYONE please help me. I just really dont understand
and need as SIMPLE an explanation as possible.
