How to combine XML with JavaScript

1 New Member
Hi all, I've got a big problem trying to combine javascript with xml.

I am using the Flash Slideshow Maker: http://www.flash-slideshow-maker.com/

to make some nice photo galleries, but they've got just a basic way of linking when clicking on the picture.

If you have a look here: http://www.hthweb.com/001/ are all the files that come after doing a sample gallery.

This is the page with the html/flash code: http://www.hthweb.com/001/01.html

Ok, actually everything is in the slides.xml file: http://www.hthweb.com/001/slides.xml

inside is the "url" tag that pointing to some link.

What I want to do is to combine this XML file with that script:

http://www.dynamicdriv e.com/dynamicindex4/thumbnail.htm

and when you click on the picture to display the effect, but I don't really know how to do it?

Does anybody know how to do it?

Many thanks!

I am working a new application...well actually a series of applications for my company. They want internal users to be able to go to a site and everything regarding security is transparent, however we will have brokers and customers that also need to connect and will require a username and password. In this case we were going to store their credentials in a SQL database. Internal users will have the ability to access the same resources...

I need a bullet proof way to combine a root and a relative path to form a FQ rooted path (similar to a VDir in IIS). Path.Combine alone will not do the job in all cases. I also need to be sure the no funny business can go on in the passed "path" that would produce a path not in the root (i.e. "..\..\dir1"). Here is my first stab at it, but not sure if this is too much or not enouph to ensure this. Any thoughts are welcome. TIA. ///...

Hello. Say I have a .net textbox that uses a .net regularexpressionvalidator. If the regular expression fails, is it possible to launch a small client side javascript function to do something, such as change the border color of the textbox to red? That would look quite nice: if the expression fails, the red validator text is shown, plus the textbox's border goes red. TIA,

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
