I have a 3com wireless router with a network of three pc's connected, one of them a dell laptop, all running xp, we have recently got a compaq presario laptop with Vista home premium, no matter what I try it will not see my network router although it does see other routers which are in the vicinity. The 3com website doesn't support the router with anything nowdays although I only bought it a year ago.

Not sure if Vista factors into the equation or not, but my guess would
be YES.
I installed Visual Studio 2005 (+SP1) on a Vista laptop and my
ASP .NET webcontrols (and AJAX controls) are not registering in
intellisense and are not avail for drag/drop from the toolbox (greyed
out). I can force them in there and compile/run just fine. I already
tried the "repair" option from the add/remove programs entry.

I set up a home network by adding a Vista Laptop to a XPHome SP2 Desktop via a D-Link Router.
The XP Desktop is connected via an ethernet cable and the Vista machine is wireless.
In the early days of setting it up I got access to the internet on both machines, could share files on the XP from the Vista....

I have a new laptop that runs Vista that I have added to a home network of
two XP desktops. I can see the host desktop, the files and the printer on
the Vista laptop but I cannot access the printer.
Any suggestions on how to resolve the issue? Any help would be greatly

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
