I have an example of this:

Because I am trying to display MathML embedded in the page, I need to

According to the CSS lint at http://htmlhelp.org/tools/csscheck/, "The
shorthand background property is more widely supported than
background-color." Can anyone point me to, or provide, information on what
browsers have difficulty with the non-shortcut methods of setting
background properties?

dear wizards:
How do I control how far to the right a background color extends in a
definition list? For example,
<dl>

Hi,
Can someone confirm whether it's possible to set the background-color
property in CSS for a table row (<tr>)?
My code is:
table { display: table; table-layout: fixed; }
tr { display: table-row; }
td, th { display: table-cell; }

I have a cell in table with background color set to red, for example
<table>
<tr><td bgcolor="red">ABC</td></tr>
</table>
I print this page to a color printer, however, no background color is
printed (red in this case)
So if it a IE problem or HTML behavior like this?

Hi,
I was recently exploring JQuery and the rounded corner plugin -http://
methvin.com/jquery/jq-corner-demo.html, unfortunately, this plug-in
seems to only apply to rounding corners in the background. I would
like to have a rounded corner border in which the border color is
black and the background for the rest of the DIV is white.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...
