I have been trying to write a script that will increase the size of
and image when you mouse over it, and decrease it to original size,
when you mouse out. After a couple of attempts, this is what I've come
up with. In this example, there are 5 images (0 thru 4) all with a
height of 80px. When you mouse over an image, it changes the
growingImage variable equal to the number of the image you mouse over,
when you mouse out, it sets it to 5,...

I created my own icons, and I would like to be able to use them instead of
all the default icons they provide. Is this possible?

Hi group,
Apologies if this is the wrong group, but I thought I'd start here first...
A client has asked me how to change the icon immediately to the left of the
text in the browser address bar.
E.g., if you go here http://www.microsoft.com, the "standard" Internet icon
appears at the very beginning of the address bar, at least it does in IE6.

How do you iterate thru a dataset to change money fields to a different
value?
Here's what I have. My dataset is filled directly from a stored procedure.
' Create Instance of Connection and Command Object
Dim myConnection As SqlConnection = New
SqlConnection(ConfigurationSettings.AppSettings("ConnectionString"))
Dim myCommand As New SqlDataAdapter("OrdersList", myConnection)

Hi,
I'm using the NotifyIcon to process some text files in the background
periodically. I want to display one icon in the task bar when the program is
in stand by mode, and I want to display another icon when it is in processing
mode. How can I do that? I have some pseudo code below:
Private Sub Timer1_Tick(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As
System.EventArgs) Handles Timer1.Tick
Try
If processing Then

Hi
I want to use a lot of icons in panels in a status bar. The icons shall show
the current status of operations and has to be changed programmatically.
Is it possible to store the icons in the application in the same way as you
store images in an image list? I prefer not get the icons from files.

Does MS have a webpage listing what each icon in the VS 2K5 IDE means?
Seems as though there was one of these for 2K3. I can't find anything
for 2K5.
Also, is there still a visual studio newsgroup?
Ultimately, I'm still trying to figure out why any new partial class
created from a file addition doesn't group under the main partial class
declaration in Solution Explorer. They group if you add a new winform
but after that, any new...

Hello everybody! I've just registered to this forum and yet got a question. :)
I've got some database, that is processed by PHP in a 'while' loop and each element that the loop draws (<li>) gets an unique ID and href to the javascript function, that should change its background color and post the ID to some invisible <input>. Actually it works pretty fine - but not in MSIE (tested on NT5.1 SP2). The debug info is absolutely idiotic and i have...

There is many requests indeed, but it's rather normal - Steve has put online

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development projectplanning, coding, testing, and deploymentwithout human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
