Maybe you should backup your files to an external hard drive or something else before you use that sofrware? It never hurts to select click and drag ^_^

you can manually adjust the partition if you have 100GB unused/unpartitioned space on hard drive after ur 2 GB windows parttition (Fat32/NTFS)
use ranish's PART.exe

1. copy part.exe on a CD (not USB)
2. Boot ur machine using a dos6.22 / win98 Boot CD
3. run part.exe to see ur HDD partition tables.
4. Change the values carefully to make ur desire size of partition.(if u did wrong it will warn you. dont touch starting side of figures, change only ending side figures.
if u touch starting side ur system will not boot.
5. start win xp and run scandisk

done...

you have to boot from CD (

I need to display a bunch of pictures that are all of various dimensions into a fixed dimension space, like MSN Messenger does with its user photos in the chat windows. Forcing image dimensions will warp the proportions, so that's no good. Forcing one coordinate while leaving the other flexible will maintain proportions, but the x,y values won't be consistant from picture to picture. I considered the MSN Messenger method of bringing...

Hello, I'm trying to convert a piece of code that creates a dynamic vertical resizing bar in a table from internet explorer to firefox. It's based on a post from http://blogs.crankygoblin.com/blogs/geoff.appleby/pages/50712.aspx. I've also read the post on this topic by bggraphics, but he doesn't arrive at a final result. The main problem I am having is that the layerX and layerY event properties don't work. They're supposed to return the...

I have a dual patition with vista(not functioning) on the c drive as primary capadity 108GB 2 used, and an E drive running XP 40GB 39.6Gb used. Please note I like the vista program. But in this instance I think it would be best probably to reformat entire disk and just a single drive. I have an external hard drive of 320GB, but how do I put my entire E drive to it so that I can restore it completely to the reformatted disc without losing...

Is there a way to attach a partition to an existing table that already has partitions (without loading data)? For example, the syntax of the attach partition is documented below: alter table <tablenameattach partition P_data_2009Q1 STARTING FROM ('01/01/2009') INCLUSIVE ENDING AT ('03/31/2009') INCLUSIVE from <tableload> The goal is to set-up the partition but not actually load any data into it.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
