Dual partition

I have a dual patition with vista(not functioning) on the c drive as primary
capadity 108GB 2 used, and an E drive running XP 40GB 39.6Gb used. Please
note I like the vista program. But in this instance I think it would be best
probably to reformat entire disk and just a single drive. I have an external
hard drive of 320GB, but how do I put my entire E drive to it so that I can
restore it completely to the reformatted disc without losing anything or the
links and shortcuts within E drive. Ahve tried repartitioning but realise
will not resize the partition with Vista as the operating system even though
it is not functioning. If you hae another suggestion please make it Thank you

You need software that will make and restore an image of the entire
partition. One (free) option is utilities supplied by most major hard drive
manufacturers. Got to your hard drive maker's web site and look for a
downloadable imaging utility. There are also several commercial choices. One
I use (and like) is Acronis True Image.

Hi I have a big j2ee appliction that was so forth run on a single cpu machine. I have tested it on a dual cpu machine, its running much slower (about X3 times slower). I know that synchronize code fragments (indirect ones as well, such as the fact that StringBuffer is synchronized) can make code run slower

I am trying to write a C# backend program that will handle the database maintenance that I would otherwise have to do via Microsoft's Analysis Services front end GUI Wizards. Currently I am having a problem with recreating the SliceValue. The value is a time dimension and should equate to ... and instead it is these same values, but instead of being seperated by periods it has some sort of non-displayable character (maybe a newline)...

Hi, I need to create a partition table but the column on which I need to create a partition may not have any logical ranges. So while creating or defining partition function I can not use any range. like CREATE PARTITION FUNCTION my_part_func (NUMERIC(7)) AS RANGE LEFT FOR VALUES (1,100,1000);

I am trying to dual boot Windows XP x64 on my computer. I recently upgraded my MB and Processor to 64 bit. I have a WD Raptor Drive (72G 10,00 RPM SATA) that I have partitioned into 2 35Gb (approx) partitions. I loaded XP home on one and it ran fine. Then I loaded x64 on the other and I couldn't get XP home to boot even though I saw the files on my D partition. I reloaded XP Home on the D partition and FINALLY got the dual boot option...

Table Partition Performance analysis ============================================ Collection of Statistics for Cost-Based Optimization/DBMS_STATS vs. ANALYZE The cost-based approach relies on statistics and if the cost-based Approach is used , then statistics should be gernerated for all tables, clusters, and all types of indexes accessed by SQL statements. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
