I am designing a game for a forum. When the user has finished playing
I need to save their data to a cookie then navigate to a page which
holds their score data (I can't have both sets of data on the same
page because I can't control the forum design). The score data is
updated with the results held in the cookie and the cookie is deleted.

If I am using FormsAuthentication, is there a way to check who is logged in?
I want to be able to check at any particular time, not just how many people
are logged in, but who they are.
One thing I want to do is not allow someone to log on from one browser and
then log on again at the same time time from another browser. Or to prevent
someone from using the same login at the same time.

I tried to implement my own session handler in order to keep control on
the process
the drawback I foun it is not creating and storing in my cookie the
PHPSESSID variable anymore.
reading te documentation it seems it should do it anyway

hi
i have a php site which allows users to save a cookie on their
computer which stores their user id details and allows them to auto-
login.
i'm wondering whether this is safe, is it possible for a malicious
user to find that cookie and change its value and therefore auto-login
as someone else? and if so how can this be prevented?

I have a C# utility that runs in ASP website. when user logs in the
ASP code writes the cookie. I am unable to read it in C# code.
I am using Request.Cookies.Value.ToString()
I can read the same cookie in ASP code.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
