I really wish there were some examples explaining how to create a forgot
password email link system when you encrypt a password in a database and use
ASP.NET/C# preferably. Since the password is encrypted in SHA1, I can't
just send a user their password by email. So I'm not sure the best way to
accomplish a forgot password module when the password is encrypted in the
database. I've tried to find info on this but have not found anything...

I decided to reinstall the Windows XP on my computer by using the
Repair Option. After typing "R" as required I am requested to input an

I have a PC that is loaded with a program that restores the Windows XP image (Linux based, don't know the name) which restores the the OS from an image with each reboot, similar to those seen in college labs etc.
So all attempts to use BART or my other bootable-CD password reset utilities are useless. I have only access to a limited account (can't install programs) but I have command prompt and storage to folders owned by this...

About forgot password: The user can use as many user names under the same email adress, so the system needs a way to send the password for user email when user type the user name on field of forgot password.
I'm running it under php 4, so don't worry if u see a $HTTP_POST_VARS. :)
