I am having a strange problem with IE 6 and an image swap.
I have a page with a dropdown list. The script changes an image on
screen based on the value selected in the list. Simple enough, right?
But when I change the value of the list by clicking with the mouse,
the screen repaints. It doesn't refresh from the server, it just sort
of "flashes".
1. If I change the list with the wheel on my mouse, the screen doesn't

I have an application that sits in the traybar that calls a msde sp3a
database to verify that the connection to the sql server instance exists.
If the sql server is up obviously the application runs perfectly. If the
database is brought down on purpose or by a machine shutting down and the
VerifyDBConnection() function is called it fails. So far so good. Now if
the VerifyDBConnection() is called repeatedly while the database is down it...

I'm having some a really weird issue with datagrids. Basically they work
fine until you update the data while a cell is selected. If you do that
then the old selected cell will remain on the screen and be on top of the
new data. You can scroll the new data and the old cell will stay in the
same position. You can even click on the old cell and move the cursor
around in it. Does anyone know why this is happening?

I'm using VS 2005 to develop an intranet asp.net web application and I get a
weird situation. If I start out with any ASPX page that contains an
ImageButton control followed by a TextBox control, everything works okay. I
can press <ENTER> when the cursor is inside the text box and the page is
running, and no events fire (this is what I expect). But as soon as I drop a

I have an Access database and a table. One of the columns was a memo
field. If I execute a 'select * from table', all the rows would be
retrieved but the columns after the memo column had null data.
If I moved the memo field to the end and executed the same SQL the data
was retrieved propery.
Also if I specified the column name by itself (E.g. select phone from
table' ), the data was retrieved.
