Is there a way to catch an event/trigger that *might* be fired when a
usb thumb drive is inserted into a Vista PC?
The reason I ask is that I'd like to catch that event and back up the
content of the thumb drive to the local machine with a custom process.
I realize there might be some security issues with this...but it would
sure be useful if I could do it.

i tried to change the file folder icon under Tools - Folder Options - File Types
i din change anything else, i was jus chose file folder and change the icon and apply... but smt wrong occured which is i cant double click o open my all folders anymore now, when right click, it is how it show in the attached pic

I just bought a SanDisk Cruzer 4GB "U3" thumb drive. Is it possible
to run an Access 2003 MDE off of one, complete with data? If so, what
would I have to do to get it to work?
Just curious. No Biggie! I thought I'd take a break from writing
code and try something different. I guess I could go fishing :-)

the other day i wiped a virus off my computer. Ever since then I haven't been able to just double-click my hard drives in My Computer. When i do double-click it, It opens the "open with" window. So I've just been right clicking the drive and telling it to open...that works fine. Its not really a problem just a nuisance. Anyone know what might be causing this or how to fix it? thanks

i recently did a full reinstall of my windows xp. complete full format etc
all current mainboard drivers etc. i used to be able to double click in my
computer and that would open the drive i clicked on . when i double click now
it opens the search window........what did i do wrong. i have reinstalled
drivers / tried different ports (usb ps2 ) to no avail

I have an unbound form that displays all the days of the year as a
calendar. It has 12 rows of text boxes with either 29,30 or 31 in

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
