You are in the wrong newsgroup,
This is a programming .net newsgroup.

but to answer your question,
you can usually assign programs thru your mouse program settings on what a double
click mouse button does.
Check your mouse settings - you should see some properties there / some shortcut
keys assigned to the mouse button.

Hi all, I'm working on an educational applet for a child with special needs. He's got a bit of a trick to make my life more difficult... To interact with the applet he needs to click on buttons, which is fine most of the time (he comes from a Mac environment, so I accept mouse clicks from the right or left button when he's working on the PC). But every once in a while, he'll press and hold the right mouse button, move onto a JButton,...

Strangely, one of my forms has acquired an odd "feature." On many things that used to require a single click, or a single hit on the Enter key, now require two clicks, or two hits. For example, to cycle through records using the left and right arrows at the bottom of the form, I have to click twice to get it to advance one record. If I open the "Find" window (it will open with one click) and type something in the "find what" box, I have...

Hey guys, I have 2 events on a windows forms datagrid, the mouse move as well as the double click events. What's happening is that when I double click on a row in the grid, the mouse move event gets triggered and the double click is not identified at all. Is there any way I can invoke the double click when the mouse move also exists?

I am creating a Windows application: The mouse event <Double-Button-1> has a conflict when the <Button-1> event also has a binding. Double clicks will first perform the single click action. This seems a little silly. Anyone know how to circumvent this? Right now I am having the function that is bound to the double click event undo the action the single click event performs. This is annoying and it flashes the single click event for a...

I'm wondering if anyone else is having this issue. It's driving me batty. It seems my mouse wants to "double click" on items when I'm just doing a single click. I thought it was the mouse so I swapped it out for another. Same thing happening with the new mouse. As I would highlight controls on a form in order to get the properties window, at frequent random times, the code behind would open with an method for the default event for...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
