ravon.exe file is running as soon as i plug my pendrive in any system. Then it started giving nose from floppy drive. How i can clear my pen drive virus?

One more thing now that virus has subsided in my system, it has made my system slow. What i should do to make it faster as earlier?

Hello,

Download Unlocker and install it. Open your pendrive and right click [New folder.exe] to see if there are some locking handles found. If locking handles are found select "kill process" option for all locking handles. Then under Actions menu, try choosing option "delete". That may or may not help depending upon the exact nature of virus. See image below for more help:

If this deosnot helps, you will need booting into FreeDOS or Linux to delete [New Folder.exe].

If unlocker doesnot helps, tell me......then we will try from Freedos or Linux.

H0pe th!s helps.......... ..

You can download it from my site

Will that actually clean the files or just delete them? Because if it just deletes them, you'd better use a standard anti-virus program (which can remove much more than 20 viruses). And sometimes files like autorun.ini can be quite useful.

Hi,

You can protect your pen drive from autorun type viruses by creating a folder named autorun.inf in the root folder. You can find more detailed instructions at Solo Antivirus site link

My ASP.NET application needs read/write permissions for drive "Z:", which is mapped to my Linksys Gigadrive (Network Attached Storage...if anyone is familiar with that). Lately, my drive has had several attacks by the Lovegate virus. Eliminating such attacks requires...

This is a bit of a vague question, but I am just starting on this, and wonder if anyone has ideas of where to start. I have a program that controls some external equipment. It sends messages in various flavours to cause the equipment to turn signals on and off, and change voltages and such like. Attached to this external equipment, is another piece of equipment that responds to these changes in signals and voltages.

Hi, executing the following on a local drive works fine : FileStream wLog; wLog=File.OpenRead(@"d:\Log.txt"); but executing the same code on a network drive creates a FileIOPermission-exception. although the user has full control on the drive where the application is running. Actually, any IO-statement creates an exception ???

Hi, Is there a way for VB5 to determine exactly where on a hard drive a .exe file is stored upon the .exe file's first copying to the hard drive? What I need to know is the exact hard drive sector, cluster, partition, etc. information so I can use it later on to determine if the file was ever deleted and restored or moved elsewhere. Thank you.

I am trying to load a Html into a HTML Docuemt Object in my client widow. Everything works fine if i used a mapped drive. But the application breaks if i use the UNC directly. Looks like when the document is accessed through UNC it take a while to load it and probably gets timed out. Does anybody have a clue about this issue. Some said that disabling the NORTON ANtI Virus Auto protect will help it. But went in vain.

You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
