respected sir;
i have a doubt about computer viruses,that is;
for eg consider:
my system has a lot of viruses.
the doubt is ,if i insert a disk or a pen drive which has full of details, that is it has no empty space ,then it wil also be affected by the virus.how it is possible.
i studied in a book that a virus is a self replicating proigram,it occupies some space or thefts some memory.if the disk has no space then how the disk or pendrive will be affected by the virus."BUT THE TRUTH IS THE DEVICE WILL BE AFECTED BY THE VIRUS".
I NEED TH REPLAY, SIR;

why do you need to know this? if you are intending to create malware this thread will be deleted!
Well, he didn't say he wanted to create one, he was just curiously asking. Well my friend. Most computer viruses have the ability to replicate, because without replication their whole lifecycle would be ruled out just the way humans replicate to prevent extinction. Well some viruses like the one I was working on can copy them selves into other programs, or rather copy their code into a virus free program, so you don't know it is a virus but you think that it's a program you know and have Been using for long. Consider cmd and explorer for instance. They are one of the most used programs on windows. I hope you get the point?

Hi all,
I'm new to asp.net and are just working on a few examples to get some
practice. The following is a simple webservice with two web methods. The
HowMuchWillItCost method works fine the GetProductInfo method returns http
500 internal server error. Maybe someone could tell me what am I doing
wrong?
I suspect it has something to do with connecting to the DB but can't figure
out what exactly is causing the error.
TIA
Rich

if I open my ASPX page from the server A himself, I see the result of the

I use MS Access (W95 version on an XP computer) to create databases for my
own use, and would like to develop a stand-alone version of one, which could
be marketed to a specific group of non-programmers. Most of the members of
the group use their computers to surf the Internet, and little else, but
could benefit from such a program.
I was referred to Visual Basic and since I did a lot of basic programming in
my early days, went to check...

Hi All,
I'd like to dump out my database using plain text format. Everything is ok,
but the bytea filds.
Restoring the dump file (using <<psql -f LO_TRY_INSERT_BYTEA.sql tmp7>>) it
sends an error message like
psql:LO_TRY_INSERT_BYTEA.sql:14: ERROR: Bad input string for type bytea
Trying dumping with copy commands it sends this error:
psql:LO_TRY_COPY_BYTEA.sql:13: lost synchronization with server, resetting

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
