Okay .. this is really going to sound stupid on my part here.. so please bear with me..

1. Check for correct drivers on your NIC's

2. Check your Firewall on your connection. (although technically this shouldnt even be an issue normally)

3. Also with your NIC's make sure your not getting an APIPA address.. ie; 169.x.x.x address ... if you are then refer back to # 1 of this list...

Those are some of the things I can advise for you to check right off. Also if you do have the correct NIC drivers and your getting a windows assigned IP, try doing an ipconfig /release /renew in your command prompt and see if that picks up the DHCP server.

just some stuff to try..incase you have'nt already.

I want the data in this field to be only alphabets with allowance for ' and - ,but nothing else- no digits, no other special characters. The total characters allowed are 50. Hi, I am going to start off and apologise for the length of this post! I have a form with 9 subforms on. Currently, each subform has its own table. Each of the tables have exactly the same field layout (ie: same fields, but slightly different names for whichever table it is). Here is an example of what I mean: One table is called ProjectCommercial(PC), another called ProjectTechnical (PT). In these two tables (plus the other 7...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
