Window XP Home Edition software in English

Where can I get Window XP Home Edition software in English? My laptop is using Window XP home edition version 2002 in Japanese but it is very unconvinient for me. I had changed by windown XP profesional in english but sound failed. who can show me how to solve?

Your sound driver needs to be reinstalled give me the make and model number for your pc and I will send you a link for your drivers.

P.S. windows has the ability to change from one language to another I can also assist you with this.

Thank you very much. My sound driver is Sigma Tel High Definition Audio CODEC. My computer model: SONY VAIO VGN-FE30B Intel(R) Celeron(R) M. Serri number is 28243811 1037409.

Looks like your laptop is non US made, so my guess it's made in Japan
I can't read Japanese so you will have to go to the Japanese version of the Sony website and search for that model.

To change the language you can read this article that explains how to do it..

I have the same problem with XP. I tried to save some $$ and bought a Libretto L5. It arrieved with all software in Japanease. I will try to change it with the previous info. The L5 has no CDROM. Can I upgrade to Windows Pro and change to English? I will to remove the HD and do it in another computer.
Can anyone help?

Windows really want to be installed on the machine that it will be used on!!!

A network install is the answer for those that don't have a CDROM.
