Problems with You Tube and other video's

1 New Member
Ok so I wanted to play a video from You Tube, well not only You Tube but other sites that you can watch videos. With You Tube I click to play the video, it shows it loading then goes straight to the end, i don't see a thing. What is the deal? With other videos I says they are loading and that is all, nothing happens. What is up with that?

I'm working on a web site that could use some control using js but am concerned about what problems I may have with potential users having their js turned off. Has anyone had any serious problems with this sort of thing? I know some of these potential users are with big companies and am wondering if anyone had real problems with that.

I want to add the ATI Rage 128 that I have spare. When I plug it in, the system won't boot. I know the video card works b/c it works in other computers. It also won't allow me to plug the monitor in to the on-board when I have the vid card plugged in. Back to the not...

I have project where they'd like the ability to have web site visitors upload a video file, and then have the server convert it (ideally to FLV) Basically, what You Tube does, but on a much smaller scale. The two main issues I see are: - uploading huge files - converting it server side.

OK, so I have a blog. I downloaded the "theme" from somewhere and have edited a few areas to suit my needs. There are different font themes within the page theme. Long story short, my "Text Posts" are supposed to be in the font: Georgia, but they are showing up in "Times New Roman"...blah! I can't find anything wrong in the code, but who am I trying to fool? I know nothing about this stuff. The code is below. The parts that I *think*...

I want to apply heat on a tube surface (3D). The heat is to be applied on a straight line on the tube. The equation of line is x= 87.5 y = 126.1620 + (-1*1004.0820) z= 166.1620 + (-1*-1004.0880) Since x is constant is given asposition holder, real x; For this constant value of x, heat is appiled on the line with the equation above. (If y and z are satisfied. I have created my code below and when I try to interprete it, there is an...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
