Float Value in textbox control in vb6.0

dear all

I want a textbox which contains only 5 numeric and 3 fraction. if nothing is written it should desplay .000 as i enter data first five numeric value should be placed before decimal their after on its own number should move after decimal.

It sounds as though you need to use the Masked EditBox control. Not sure how closely it matches the functionality you described, but it's certainly useful for enforcing a particular input format.
